Founded in 2004 by Alvaro Merino, Restaurant Cleaners started its journey with a humble beginning, landing its first client, a small local gas station. In the beginning, it was Al and his wife Maria scrubbing the gas station floors and bathrooms. A few years later, in 2006, Alvaro pivoted to the restaurant industry, landing his first restaurant client, a renowned Times Square restaurant. With a vision to provide exceptional janitorial services to the hospitality industry, Alvaro’s dedication and passion laid the foundation for the company’s success. In 2017, Alvaro’s son, Daniel Merino, joined the company, infusing it with new energy and fresh perspectives. With his innovative ideas and relentless drive, Daniel has propelled Restaurant Cleaners to new heights. Under his leadership, the company has experienced exponential growth, expanding its client base from a handful to over 50+ restaurants, bars, and hotels cleaned on a nightly basis.
