Yammile Gallegos was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. Following her passion for medicine and helping others, she attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where she graduated Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She also earned a second bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Sciences and a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from UT Health – San Antonio. Upon completing her studies, she remained in San Antonio working in the field of Interventional Pain Management. Subsequently, she relocated with her husband to El Paso where she continued to practice in the realm of Interventional Pain Management and was part of a large Orthopedic Surgery Group. Mrs. Gallegos has over a decade of experience as a certified practicing Physician Assistant. Her entire career she has been passionate about helping her patients improve their quality of life through therapeutic approaches to reduce pain by providing safe, conservative, and compassionate care.
